My Story
Hello, I am Marisol Rosario the founder of Viajesol Tours and Travel. My passion for travel started at a very young age going every summer to my parents' country of origin, Dominican Republic. What's not to love about the Dominican Republic, Am I right? Ten years ago I decided to expand that passion and go to a different destination every year for my birthday. I've been to several places and I have a long list of destinations that I can not wait to explore. This dream of mine started 3 years ago when I was already planning vacations for friends and giving travel advice to friends and family. I enjoyed sharing my adventures and what I have learned with others. I decided to venture into the travel industry in 2024 because of that passion for travel and helping others explore the world and love it as much as I do through traveling is the ultimate goal.
I am passionate about exploring diverse cultures, savoring culinary delights, and capturing moments through photography. A devoted wine enthusiast who believes in creating unforgettable memories.

ETA - EUROPE (UK) VISA REQUIREMENT
✈️ Flying to or through the UK? You’ll need an ETA! 🇬🇧
As of 2024, travelers from visa-exempt countries (including the U.S.) must apply for a UK ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) — even if you’re only transiting through the UK on a layover.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Who needs it?
U.S. passport holders and other visa-exempt travelers visiting or connecting flights through the UK.
✅ When to apply:
Apply at least 3 days before travel — earlier is better!
✅ What you’ll need:
📌 A valid biometric passport
📌 A digital passport-style photo
📌 Travel details
📌 A debit or credit card to pay the £16 fee (about $20 USD)
✅ How to apply:
📲 Download the official ETA app or

📁 Upload your photo and documents
💳 Pay directly through the app or website
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Only use the official site or app. Third-party providers may charge extra fees for the same process.
🗓️ Your ETA is valid for 2 years (or until your passport expires) and allows multiple entries to the UK.
🚨 No ETA = No boarding. Even for layovers, the ETA is required.

Enhanced Real ID - Rolled Out May 7, 2025
REAL ID is Now in Effect – Are You Ready?
As of May 7, 2025, the REAL ID Act is officially in full effect. That means if you're planning to fly domestically within the U.S., your standard driver's license or state ID is no longer accepted for TSA security checkpoints.
So what do you need to fly?
✅ A REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID (look for the star on your ID)
✅ A valid U.S. Passport
✅ Or a Global Entry card (if you’re enrolled in the program)
If you don’t have your REAL ID yet and you need to travel soon, your passport or Global Entry card will be your only options for domestic flights.
